Light, Focus and Color

Taking pictures in Red Square, Moscow

In a late summer hazy day, typical Moscow summer weather, I carried Nikon D700 and 70-200mm VR zoom lenze around the Red Square. The weight is certainly not helping my back, but how could I go to this famous place with my point and shoot camera?
The light is pretty dull but soft, photoshop will come in handy.
The picture look 3 dimentional, a little unreal, like a fake 3D image.
